For parents

A home for your kid, right by campus.

Since 2005, Rabbi Tzvi and Rivky Bronchtain have been looking out for Jewish students at UNLV. Shabbat dinners, holidays, kosher food and a family to lean on, a few minutes from campus.

Introduce your student

Send us a name. We'll take it from there.

Share your student's name and phone number and we'll reach out with a warm hello and an invitation to Shabbat. Many students meet us during their first week on campus. A note from home makes it even easier.

Questions parents ask

Good questions. Honest answers.

Is Chabad only for Orthodox students?

No. Chabad UNLV welcomes every Jewish student, whatever their background or level of observance.

Will my student feel pressured?

Chabad meets every student at their own pace and comfort level. Students take part in as much or as little as they like.

Is the food kosher?

Yes. Meals at the Chabad House are prepared in a kosher kitchen.

How close is it to campus?

The Chabad House is a few minutes from UNLV, and some programs, like Pizza & Parsha, happen right on campus.

How can I support Chabad UNLV?

Chabad UNLV runs on the generosity of parents, alumni and friends. You can give online, or reach out to Rabbi Tzvi about sponsoring a Shabbat or event.
